New South Korean MRLs for canola now effective
Effective 1 January 2017, Stage 1 for the South Korean ‘Positive List System’ for chemical residues comes into effect. This impacts canola.
The default of 0.01mg/kg now applies to:
- Many chemicals – the default to Codex no longer applies, nor does their previously complex deferral system.
- All chemicals not listed, unless they are exempt or have a national MRL as listed in the table.
