The Australian Oilseeds Industry Strategic Plan 2026-2030 sets a clear pathway to a sustainable, resilient and competitive Australian oilseeds industry – trusted globally, delivering value across food, feed and fuel markets, and creating enduring value for growers, regional communities and supply chains.
Developed through consultation across the value chain, and building on foundations established through earlier industry plans, the 2026-2030 Strategic Plan defines a clear ambition including a pathway toward 12 million tonnes of oilseed production, and outlines a framework to guide collective action.
The plan focuses on three core priorities:
Strategic Priority 1 – Market access, market development and demand growth
Strategic Priority 2 – Sustainable production and value chains for market assurance
Strategic Priority 3 – Industry capability, coordination and delivery
